Ceramic Hanging Bowl, Pottery Hanging Bowl, Rustic Plant Hanger
A small hanging bowl for putting a trailing plant in.
The bowl was thrown on my wheel here in my garden studio. It has been glazed with my once fired glaze. Once firing is a much more sustainable way of producing pottery, dispensing with the need for a preliminary biscuit firing.
The bowl has four holes in and a lovely rustic string threaded through and tied. I’ve used a very simple knot which can easily be adjusted to make the hanger longer or shorter. Or you could even add your own macramé. I have made a hanging loop at the top by whipping the string with some finer string.
The bowl measures 4.5 inches across and 3 inches deep. The attached strings are about 24inches long and can be adjusted.
